Founded in 1990 during a small office meeting in Mumbai at the hands of a few stalwarts of Zone Urology family is almost 35 years old and encompasses more than 800 members from all over Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Goa, Diu and Daman.
Germinated with the prime objectives of focussing on issues relevant to the urologists of Western India the society has fast grown in magnanimity with objectives spanning academic, social and philanthrophic fields.
To bring about global change in urology care, attempts are being made to reach out to other specialities, paramedics and common man at large, through our scientific, educational and social initiatives, and publications.
Today we see the USI-WZ delivering knowledge, education, healthcare, stimulate research, innovations and organise various events and meetings for exchange and dissemination of knowledge and to foster social interactions.

Dear friends and respected seniors,
Its an honour and a privilege to address you as the newly appointed Honorary Secretary of the
Urological Society of India - West Zone. It is with great enthusiasm and a deep sense of
responsibility that I take on this role, and I look forward to working closely with all of you in
advancing the mission and vision of our society.
Our society has always been committed towards scientic innovation, collaboration, and progress.
Together, we create an environment where knowledge is shared, ideas are nurtured, achievements
are applauded and urological treatment rened constantly.
As a continuing effort to enhance our academic growth, we have formed the Publication, Academic
and Research Cell of our society by the name of PARC-USIWZ. The aim of this cell is to encourage
our members for publishing their data, promote collaborative research and improve our quality of
presentations at zonal, national and international levels.
Effective communication in a group fosters trust and unity. We shall communicate to one and
everyone in the group about the developments and upcoming activities. As Honorary Secretary, my
door is always open to you. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any suggestions, concerns, or
ideas that you feel would benet the society. Our society gets enriched by the contribution and
dedication of our members.
In the coming months, we aim to interact regularly with each other through our midterm meetings,
webinars and nally at our annual event. I request you all to actively participate, contribute &
support one another to strengthen the bonds that unite us as a society.
Last but not the least I would also strive to make Learning not only enlightening but also
entertaining. When education entertains, knowledge sticks. We shall learn lessons wrapped in
laughter and joy too with some fun excursions and celebrations.
With every step, I reafrm my dedication to meet your expectation towards our collective success.
